The bunch of functions I use as a logging system are not currently assembled into a proper set of modules.

This is one of the first things that should be sorted.

something like new-logger <region> (<prefix>?) could be used to specify the new local logging 'region'

After calling this new logs could be made using the simpler log info <message> or perhaps even log <message>

This is more of a QoL improvement than anything else.
