Usage

  1. Download the file with your desired flavour e.g. mocha.conf (to be found in the release or after cloning the repository in themes/)
  2. Copy it into your hyprland config e.g. ~/.config/hypr/
  3. Include the file at the top of your hyprland.conf
    • source=~/.config/hypr/mocha.conf
  4. When using the non-alpha colors, use $COLOR e.g. $base
  5. When using the alpha colors use something like rgba($COLORAlpha<transparency>) e.g. rgba($surface0Alphaee)

hyprland's Issues

CRLF 'Invalid config line'

After downloading one of the release files and sourcing it in my hyprland conf, I got an error for each blank line in my mocha.conf file. Long story short, hyprland does not like CRLF. I had to run dos2unix <filename> to fix it. Maybe this is related to how the themes are templated? I'm not super familiar with whiskers so I'm not sure

Cannot parse alpha as int

When using the config generated for the release, I am unable to use the *Alpha colors. Either it just doesn't show and and doesn't throw an error, or it does throw an error saying "Cannot parse '11111b' as an int". Manually changing $crustAlpha = 11111b to $crustAlpha = rgba(11111bee) seems to work.

I'm thinking you just change https://github.com/catppuccin/hyprland/blob/main/hyprland.tera#L11 to be something like:

${{ name }}Alpha = rgba({{ color.hex }}ee)
