What do you think about a coin system?
You get coins when you play a level so, you can buy new blocks to create your own levels.

Could someone create a nice hotbar bg texture and a selected item texture?

The license is outdated. Many files have different names now.
I think we should fix that. (@kaadmy @Wuzzy2 )

It would be really nice if someone could make a ufo model and a texture for it.

I think a timer could be added to start a game.
It could be inspired by Hungry Games one : https://github.com/MinetestForFun/server-minetestforfun-hungry_games/tree/master/mods/hungry_games (This one is Minetest For Fun version : it adds a skip function)

@cdqwertz implemented coins. Right now, they have no use. So here's my idea: How about these coins can be used for upgrades or for changing skins? The upgrades could be speed, higher jump or something else. Changing skins could be for changing the UFO colour.
