Originally I intended to have word shape encode a lot of information, but didn't knew which system to use. Now the idea is to have a system similar to pitch accent, where there are one or two accents in a word, with the accented syllable being heavy. As a rough first example "pátata" would become 'paa.tat, "patáta" > pa'taat, "patatá" > pta'taa. You see that the second and third forms actually contradict each other, a in both the last syllable is stressed but the form differs. So we would need to first define what a heavy syllable is and then incorporate it with the rest of the OT restrictions.

It might be used to show: questions, aspect, mood, topic, etc.

They act like base verbs, but take less affixes and can't form constructions with adjectives.

Like:
pi-(inside) katakata titikaka
EXP-inside fish lake
I see a fish in the lake.

And explain how to generate the names.

For example a number of soundchanges and compounding rules to turn Toki pona words into tikap words.
