Add the following note:
'{ Layers shared with me has to be permitted "Who can manage it? (update, delete, change permissions, publish/unpublish it) }'

Because, Take a look at this issue:

Unsuccessfully added heatmap style to a layer that I am not its owner but I am permitted "Who can edit styles for this layer?"

However when the layer owner removed the permission "Who can edit styles for this layer?" and added permission to "Who can manage it? (update, delete, change permissions, publish/unpublish it)" it worked fine and sld generated successfully

Solve the selected layer in a another page and not shown as selected so the user gets confused if there is a Layer selected or not

add layer selected somewhere in the page

this page has no header, and can not return back to cartoview

add a condition that checks if the number of layers less than the number of total items per page

on the select layer panel add a link to the layer page
this way before selecting the user will be able to view and study the attributes

This will be the first step of the wizard, which is basically all text and help about what this wizard is doing
and what and where to expect the output

make sure in any step the default style is not being overridden

All elements in the page has to be aligned to the page container reference border

This issue applies for "Cartoview Categorized Styler", "Cartoview Graduated Styler", "Point in Polygon", 'Buffer Tool'

please list only point layers at selection of the layer

User has to click save or generate SLD instead of next

Then, Show only a the map viewer with its buttons and tips
and add one more Button "Create new Style", and don't allow the user to go back to any step after generating the sld

This issue applies for "Cartoview Categorized Styler", "Cartoview Graduated Styler"

The (x) clear button has to be shown only when search input field filled with some string otherwise why to clear an empty field in this case?!

Noticed that when user clicks the clear button the list of layers rerenders again like a refresh button, expected only to render the list if there is some value has changed otherwise no need to rerender an existing list
