alexa-pocket's Issues

reading articles doesn't work well

I just did a test. I added 4 NY Times articles to My Pocket. When it opens it says i have 4 articles, and lists them all. When I go to read 1 it works - but if i go go "next" or say "read #2" it says no other articles after reading the 1st one!

Also, if i have numerous articles (i.e. more than 10) i won't be able to remember which was is which number - would be nice if it just started by reading the headlines, and if you didn't have to mention an article number - better if you could just say "alexa read" when a headline is read to you - then say "alexa next" either in the middle or end of that article to be able to go from article to article all in a row but not be required to listen to each fully. Let me know if these are possibities - otherwise I won't be able to use this skill. Thanks.

Automatically determine the article's language and use the correct voice

Thanks a lot for this helpful skill! I really like it.
However, I often have articles in different languages in my pocket list (mainly German and English). The skill is reading German articles (i.e. my system language) correctly with the German voice. However, English articles are also read with the German voice, making them useless.
It would be great if the skill could automatically determine the language of an article and switch to the corresponding voice - like the official pocket app on the smart phone does.

Many thanks again for your efforts in creating this skill!

Please add pause option

Can you please add an option to pause the reading of an article. Sometimes I want to pause for a bit, but whenever I ask Alexa to pause, it just goes back to the beginning.
Also, if there is a way to resume from where you left off, or an ability to fast forward to a certain point (ex. Alexa skip 10 seconds), that would be awesome. Though I understand if that is technologically impossible.

Is display interface compatible with Fire TV?

Notice: I could not test it myself, since the skill is not available in ES marketplace. Making it available, even for just reading English articles would be great.

I'd like to know if a Fire TV Stick could be used as a display interface.
I'm thinking in using a TV as a speed reading (RSVP) device (although I've failed to find any speed control neither in the code nor in the JSON strings).

Enable the skill for new regions like India

Please enable your skill for new Alexa regions like India. I am unable to enable the skill in India.
this is the error message in the amazon.com site.

Read articles under a tag

From Alexa skill reviews: "Can we ask Alexa to read out about 5-10 articles under a particular tag and then listen to the one we choose?", "Only wish you could ask her to read articles by tag".

Shouldn't be hard to implement.

German Translation

It would be great to have a German translation of the Skill. I am happy to help with translations.
