Just wondering if this app will be made so those of us abandoned by mac, 
mozilla, flash and others will be able to run this on our power pc's. I hope so 
it seems like a great little app

I can be a beta-tester for you, I like screeniks.

Would be awesome with applescript support, so we could automate it!

I feel Skreenics would be more useful if I can get multiple images than just 
one file with all the 
images on it. I might not understand how to use the output - so I'm open to 
suggestions.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would love to be able to pick and choose from the individual list of the 
images created by 
Skreenics.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

My use of the product involves making images from videos I have shot. I usually 
only need one 
image to use for the link (on our portal). If I had multiple JPEGS, I could 
just grab the one I 
needed and finish the job.

Your AMAZING program is the BEST ScreenCap progran.... but i wish it would 
cover more file types, specifically .wmv.

It was be extremely nice to have the option to remove the time stamp and the 
movie information from the generated image file.

A feature to automatically skip blank or blurry frames would be great! An old 
CLI project for Windows called movie thumbnailer (mtn) has this feature. See 
http://moviethumbnail.sourceforge.net/ for examples.

It would be great if I could take multiple movies and make a single
screencap from them.

Is skreenics still being developed? It would be nice to get some more options 
for the program :)

In a generated sheet it would be really cool to be able to click on a frame 
that's not quite right and have the standard scrubber appear for the user to 
pick another one.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Drag video file in to the Skreenics window.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect Skreenics to do it's thing, but I get the following error every time:
"File does not contain a video track"

I'm on a G5 (PPC) running 10.5.8

What decoder does Skreenics use? Quicktime? All of the files I'm trying work 
fine in Quicktime and VLC.

Could you add command line interface to process a lot of video files?

Example :

SkreenicsCli -in videofile.avi -out image.out

Use GUI Golbal Preferences (picture format, image file width, space px, nb
columns ...)

Skreenics is a great idea.
please could you add the following option :
- Decide wether to print frame timing or not
- Choose the time separating each frame
- make a figure with all key frames

If a movie is being processed, cancelling or suspending the operation will not 
actually cancel / suspend it. Should be easy (simply use NSOperation's status).

It works for non-running operations though.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Clean install on OS X 10.7, simply run and use.  Issues are intermittent and 
video-to-video.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I anticipate my completed thumbnail summary.  Instead I do not receive one.

It would be nice, I guess, to have more customization options, such as:
- Choose the font for every type of text
- Choose which details should be printed (and add more available details)
- Choose the angle / blur radius of the shadow
etc.

With more available preferences, it would be nice to have a way to save and 
restore preferences presets.

it would be great if we could save / load presets  and make more than one 
export.


it would be nice if  we could design the header from scratch ex with a logo, 
add or hide information 
(choose the height of the header etc..) . 
recently we used skreenics to create video information picture on 
www.homevjmix.com
