I think it will help if you could help if you show us the option for your "talk to me " line because if I enter something not correct to the option you have in the code to use it just keeps repeating " please talk to me" and maybe some maybe not be able to exit the problem or go to next step if they didn't input the right options. To fix this I think when they enter the wrong option few times, it shows the option, for example, the "hello" and "bye"

Should the script be save as .sh and not .txt?

hey save your with .sh instead .txt

you should add more input strings instead of just hello or bye, also add some other commands from other chapters too

should you put another option on the list that when the user enter the wrong input, it'll display what option for the input or you could display the two option for the user to input before asking them to input? (similar to what kml74123 says)

Hi there. I ran your script and it keep prompting "Sorry, I don't understand" and I can't seem to find a key to exit out of your script. You may want to add a statement to press a key to exit out. Overall, you're doing a great job.
