Is there a way to put a blog roll below the static home page? I am hoping to have the home page include a slider, your custom content boxes, and then the blog roll with the latest blog posts.

I am a student at MSOE. My chapter sends out weekly emails, and I am hoping to have the weeks blog mirror the email.

Hi Caleb,
On the homepage of my installs, the slider will load, but disappear. This happens on Chrome (desktop and Android), but not on IE 11.

Android recently allowed the status bar color of the phone to be set by websites. Just paste this in the header and customize with the appropriate color.

Lately, I have been working on the soon-to-be-released v3.0 of the InterVarsity Theme, with some major additions and improvements. Here are the tentative release notes:

• Bumped minimum WordPress version requirement to 4.5
• The background color for menus and tooltips now matches the chosen page background color (as set in the Customizer)
• Customizer improvements
  • Implemented Selective Refresh (introduced in WordPress 4.5) for several theme feature toggles
  • Added a {{year}} variable for use in the footer copyright text
    • Typing {{year}} into the Copyright Text field (under Footer > Copyright Text in the Customizer) will expand to the current year on the live site
• Icon additions/improvements
  • Added 'Chat', 'Heart', and 'Money' to the list of available content box icons
  • Switched to using inline SVGs (instead of an icon font) for all site icons
    • This should reduce page weight slightly, and may improve icon quality on some browsers
• Fixed a bug where a user would be unable to change the site's primary and accent fonts
  • This issue only occurred when an Google Fonts API key was not set
• Upgraded all developer dependencies

@jacobertel: since you have provided valuable feedback and suggestions on the theme in the past, I ask that you please test this theme on your IV site to see if everything works well for you. The pre-release of the theme is available on branch develop.
