I don't personally know how to use http-proxy to target any host. Proxying to any host is done here by pattern matching request URIs before proxying the request.

For the sake of ideas, I can imagine two different CLI patterns for universal proxying:

1. Make <target> optional, where none specified means universal proxying:

   'corsproxy [<target>] [--port=<port>] [--origin=<origin>] [--credentials]'
   

2. Alternatively, accept * as a special input for <target> that is a flag for universal proxying.
