First of all, thanks for creating a simple but effective script to open an encrypted container with a GUI dialog.

I was wondering if you could add support for gocryptfs? It aims to be a modern successor to encfs and it seems to be better in all aspects. Here is a short description of it from their own site:

I do believe this is not distro specific
If /usr/share/doc/encfsui does not exist, sudo make install encfsui-setup throws following error:
install: failed to access ‘/usr/share/doc/encfsui’: No such file or directory

I believe the solution will be around line 52 in encfsui-setup script:
install -CDv -m 644 -t $DESTDIR$DOCDIR README.md

That should be enclosed in an if structure testing for the existence of the directory.
If the directory doesn't exist, the setup script should create it.

I ran encfsui-setup clean without error but the previous uniquely named volumes were still present in the menu bar icon volumes list.

Deleting the file
/Users/%username%/Library/Preferences/encfsgui Preferences
resolved the issue. OSX 10.10.5

I'd love to see an option to remove individual volumes from the menu bar icon gui as part of the application. Thanks for making such a great tool.
