Hi. Why should i put overriden method like in the code snippet to the beginning? They are almost the same across every activity/fragment class and are not that valuable. What's the point? Help me figure it out. :)

Since Buffer uses Kotlin in it's Android projects it would be great to define a Kotlin code style and check it using automated tools like Ktlint and detekt.

This is purely my ignorance around checkstyle showing, but wasn't sure if there was a specific reason that this uses checkstyle 6.5.

Just curious as I copy this setup over to our own project, if I should dare to upgrade. Or if it's a known thing that anything >6.5 will explode in Android land.
