backbone-shortcuts's Issues

publish to npm

I noticed your library is not available on npm. I took the liberty of publishing it myself after forking your repo. I used the name "backbone-shortcuts". If you'd like to update your repo and maintain control of this entry on npm, I'd be more than happy to give up the name so you can make use of it.

Comma separated shortcuts doesn't works

Assigning multiple shortcuts on a single line separated by comma as in keymaster.js doesn't works.

shortcuts: {
  'right, space': 'someMethod'
}

I understand you support the scope feature of keymaster.js https://github.com/madrobby/keymaster/#scopes which make it ugly to supports multiple shortcuts and a scope.

shortcuts: {
  // fulgy but could be nice to supports that for backwards compatibility
  'right, space myscope': 'notReallyNeat'
}

Maybe the above could be supported for backwards compatibility but a more clean declaration could be promoted :

shortcuts: {
  'right, space': {scope: 'myScope', method: 'someMethod'}
}

Let me know your thoughts and if you haven't time to implement it, I'll see if I have some for a fork-pull-request.

[enhancement] Add missing bower.json.

Hey, maintainer(s) of bry4n/backbone-shortcuts!

We at VersionEye are working hard to keep up the quality of the bower's registry.

We just finished our initial analysis of the quality of the Bower.io registry:

7530 - registered packages, 224 of them doesnt exists anymore;

We analysed 7306 existing packages and 1070 of them don't have bower.json on the master branch ( that's where a Bower client pulls a data ).

Sadly, your library bry4n/backbone-shortcuts is one of them.

Can you spare 15 minutes to help us to make Bower better?

Just add a new file bower.json and change attributes.

{
  "name": "bry4n/backbone-shortcuts",
  "version": "1.0.0",
  "main": "path/to/main.css",
  "description": "please add it",
  "license": "Eclipse",
  "ignore": [
    ".jshintrc",
    "**/*.txt"
  ],
  "dependencies": {
    "<dependency_name>": "<semantic_version>",
    "<dependency_name>": "<Local_folder>",
    "<dependency_name>": "<package>"
  },
  "devDependencies": {
    "<test-framework-name>": "<version>"
  }
}

Read more about bower.json on the official spefication and nodejs semver library has great examples of proper versioning.

NB! Please validate your bower.json with jsonlint before commiting your updates.

Thank you!

this.collection becomes undefined

After I changed my view from Backbone.View.extend to Backbone.Shortcuts.extend

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'on' of undefined

on the line where I referenced this.collection in initialize(). Where did this.collection go?

Thanks!

Multiple shortcuts doesn't work

class GS.Lib.Shortcuts extends Backbone.Shortcuts

  shortcuts:
    'shift+/' : 'help'
    'n'       : 'quickCampaign'

  help: ->
    alert('help')
    false

  quickCampaign: ->
    alert('quick campaign')
    false

quickCampaign doesn't work here
