mysqleconomybridge's Issues

interfering with offline players balances (Balance does not change)

When using this plugin we have an issue with our shops and offline players.

When a player A is offline, and different player B uses their signs - the transaction is logged, but the /bal of player A does not change. This applies to [buy], [sell], [device], and probably the others too.

For example: a [buy] sign, selling 1 dirt for $1.
Player B will use the sign, they get the 1 dirt, $1 is deducted from their account, but it is NOT passed on to the owner of the sign.

Vice-versa for a [sell] sign:
Player A buying 1 cobblestone for $20. Player B will sell some cobble, but player A is not deducted the $20.

The [sell] sign can be exploited for money duping. For example: 2 players work together, one sets up a [sell] sign and goes offline. The other can then freely sell the goods and get free money, while the offline player is not deducted any money. Essentially; money dupication.

Im using PaperSpigot 1.12.2.

Ahoy!
I'm looking to populate a database of all my users balances for a web API i'm making, the problem is I can't wait for every user to log in one by one over and I have a lot of users that probably will never log in again, it would also act as a nice backup/overview of all balances being able to run some queries on the database to see were we stand with Eco!

Can we please get an initial import that iterates through all Essentails users and imports their balance into the database table please.

This would be intended just like a /dynmap fullrender, where you have an existing server and you need to do the initial population of the table. I have ~165,000 Ess user files.

Dynmap has a queue system for such an intensive job, I wouldn't be sure of the impact of scanning and parsing this amount of files, servers are mostly using SSD nowadays so it shouldn't be such a massive i/o impact.

1.7.10 Not Connecting to MySQL Database

I have 2 1.12.2 servers which are perfectly capable of connecting to my database, however using the exact same config from the 2 that were working, my 1.7.10 server will not connect to it. It keeps attempting a reconnect and it errors with null. I'm running Thermos-1614 (EcoBridge Version 3.4.1), and it is tied into a Bungeecord network. So far, I tried letting it create a new config and putting my credentials back in, and I tried disabling SSL. Neither of those worked. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong, or if 1.7.10/Thermos isn't supported.
