boostremote's Issues

How did you calculate the motor speed to the slider position?

First I want to thank you for this awesome app. It's easy to use and works perfectly.

When using the Touchscreen Controller of Powered Up I noticed that I cannot use just a linear function because then the slider has to be moved first until the Boost starts to drive.
Because I want to learn about - not only to use it for a some code for the Mindstorms Hub:

How did you calculate the motor speed in relation to the slider position?

And here my second question starts: You already mentioned you won't code anything similar for other controllers but what about the Lego Remote Controller (BLE) or for the Mindstorms Hub?
Would be great. Just an idea. :)

Thank you and a best wishes for you!

Constant whine from motors

When I tried the app there was a constant whine from the robot. I'm guessing it's because "move 0 units" is being sent constantly even when not touching the screen. A cursory look a the code seems to confirm this, but I'm not great at Swift and RxSwift confuses me further :P
