Strange UI issues with not selecting general channel

Move all logic from the proxy into the client.

Currently networking can't handle being offline very well.
There needs to be a network manager, with a queuing system.

Work as following:

• Add network requests to a queue
• Dispatch requests if network available
• If request fails due to 404 then abort all others, mark network as failing, and retry status check until back
