Setup builder isn't used to create the exe for windows. This creates a conflict with building dmg, because the shortcuts are manually created with a wix template, but the dmg task requires information that creates an automatic shortcut on Windows which doesn't work because either it doesn't know about the exe that is manually created or it doesn't include the jre although it should or it creates the shortcut in the wrong place.

Extend the existing dmg build on travis to include rpm and deb artifacts. That way, all packages except Windows can be built in one go.

When downloading the dmg from Github, the application will not start. However, installing the dmg directly works fine.

I have no idea what the problem is, but here's a workaround:
After installing the application, open terminal (hit ⌘+SPACE to open spotlight, type terminal, hit enter) and type the following command and hit enter:
xattr -rc /Applications/Dotify\ Studio.app/

After this, the application should open.

While the installation software is not Windows specific, only Windows has been tested. Also, the shell integration is currently Windows specific.

The minimum java version is set to the version of the jre used when building the installation. It would be preferable if this could be set manually.

deb and rpm tasks fail with an exception when using Gradle 3.5.

SetupBuilder isn't working out as well as I'd hoped. It's a great idea, but unfortunately the implementation isn't quite up to the task. I don't have enough time or knowledge about the different platforms to engage in the project myself. I need a solution that works out of the box.

SetupBuilder has a number of issues:

• No support for Java 9 (or 10), see i-net-software/SetupBuilder#49
• Inconsistencies in available options, see i-net-software/SetupBuilder#51

The application icon is indistinct on Windows 10 (black against a dark background).

Since the strategy going forward is to use the current version of Java (for details, see https://github.com/brailleapps/wiki/wiki/Java-update-strategy-beyond-Java-9) I need a package tool for Linux that can include an embedded Java.

Until this is resolved, there will be no Linux packages. See also #9.
