Keep getting Invalid Token error. All creds and token I enter are valid.

Per title, when the user plays a video (without manually selecting a resolution), the app should grab the highest resolution possible for their device(s) and then cross-reference that with the available resolutions for the given video/sub tier.

The Android TV app claims I can't watch the livestream on the cheapest tier but I used the Android TV app on this same tier just a few weeks ago and it works fine on the site.

The Roku app also currently works fine for the livestream though every other video crashes the app.

When I try to install the app on a fire tv stick, I get a parsing error.

Add the ability to auto play the next video. Exoplayer already has a playlist feature, so utilizing such should be relatively simple. Just need to setup the logic, maybe display an on-screen video selector with the next few available videos. I'm sure an interface already exists for this as well.

Needs to be toggleable, preferably opt-in unless enough people ask for it to be enabled by default. Could replace the CDN server selector, as it currently serves no purpose, with an imagebutton (checkbox unchecked/checked) that changes based upon state.

The latest beta (1.5.1) fixed the resolution issues (which prevented all playback because of non 4k tier).

-However it constantly has a new issue: randomly during playback, videos crash back to the previous (video info) screen. It doesn't save the location in the video, and it doesn't allow playback again unless I restart the app.

-Also after crashing when clicking up/down on the info screen, the info gets doubled, see picture:

This is fixed by restarting

Just wondering, do very few people use this app? Since nobody else has complained about these things..

Both on the AndroidTV play store version, and the apk version (1.4.8) have stopped working for me. Every video shows the same error, "Video could not be played". I know, it's probably the fault of floatplane because you don't work with you when they change the site. Just thought I'd let you know, in case you didn't know yet.

Hi bmlzootown, I'm so happy that you made this application, I just wish I found it earlier so I wouldn't have had to struggle with the less-than-optimal chromecast feature of the iOS app of Floatplane for as long as I did :p.

I was wondering if it were possible to add the different sub-channel categories that the Floatplane website now offers. So for example for LTT it's Linus Tech Tips, ShortCircuit, Mac Address, FP Exclusives etc. Right now, it's not really easy to identify what sub-channel each video is from.

An easier way (I think) could maybe be to just add the icons of the channels in front of the title of the videos, just like the Floatplane website has. That way, at least, it'd be easy to distinguish the different sub-channels.

When I'm looking for videos to watch and I get to the end of the list of currently loaded videos. It then resets me to the start of the list each time it tries to load more videos. More videos do load however I end up having to re-scroll through all the videos multiple times

Everytime i open Hydravion i get "Update Available" message, is there a way to disable new update notication?

Two users, one via LTT forums and the other via Discord, have reported that, after authenticating, the app simply crashes upon launch.

Other users can run the app just fine, tested on both another Nvidia Shield and the latest Chromecast with no issues. Might be a subscription (tier) specific issue.

Still waiting to hear back from both users in order to get a logcat dump so that I can look into the issue.

When I log in, it says “Session Expired. Re-open Hydravion to login again!”.

Totally unsure if this is something that you can control or if it's purely on the Projectivy Launcher side. Projectivy Launcher is an alternative home screen/launcher for AndroidTV. In it, you can select which apps show up as "channels" which means that they get a dedicated row on the home screen showing their latest videos. It'd be cool to have Floatplane/Hydravion videos show up there as well.

As stated, 4K playback sometimes fails seemingly only for LTT-specific videos. TQ, TL, MA, and other channels don't seem to be affected.

As has been mentioned in Discord, Floatplane's own Android app uses a combination of React/JS and ExoPlayer, the latter of which we also use for AndroidTV.

If anyone has any thoughts/suggestions, I'm all ears (or eyes, rather). I'm at a loss as of right now.

Hi Thanks for the app works fine so far. But got 2 Problems

1. Sometimes the video stops and i am back to the app i hear the cursor sound but cant see it. Must restart the app to fix it. Don´t know if it is a problem with the app or internet connection. (via lan on Shieldtv)
2. When 2 Videos are posted i see only the first one but the time on the video shows double the runtime. Is there an way to implement which video to play? It plays only the first one.

I can play videos in the official floatplane app without issues, but lately I get "Video could not be played" for every video and resolution on the LTT supporter plus channel using hydration 1.4.5.

Edit: signing out and in again doesn't help either
