Can't create username on reshade.me forum

I know this isn't the best place to write it, but I couldn't find any other way to make contact.

The https://reshade.me forum has no way to create new accounts now. If you click create a new account, it just redirects you make to reshade.me instead of a form to create a new username. Do you know anyone that can fix this?

Foreground hud / UI is displayed in only one eye

This shader mostly works with gw2 except the UI and all the names are displayed on a separate 2d flat map, I'm fairly certain this isn't unique to gw2 but I'm not sure how to make it so the ui is just duplicated to both images. Still playable, if you disable all ui elements though, great work.

Reduce size of master.zip

I really enjoy playing games with reshade, Depth3D and trinusVR.
Unfortunately, whenever I add a Depth3D to a game it takes over 30 minutes, because the master.zip file is 23 MB, and I'm on a very slow internet connection.
I can think of three ways of reducing the size:

  1. Make the GIFs in the .github folder smaller
  2. Make a separate repository which is a mirror of the original one, without the GIFs
  3. Remove the GIFs from the repo entirely, and perhaps host them elsewhere. ( and add some html to the readme to get the GIFs from the hosted area)

3DToElse (Interlaced to SBS or NV3D-Ready) not working

Hi, I'm trying to use the Nvidia VIsion 3D rendering on my VR Headset, so your 3DToElse shader seems to be exactly what I need, but the result is... well, like it don't get the correct information to SBS...

EDIT : Also, has Nvidia Vision Ready monitors are simple Frame Sequential render, there's not a way to adapt the frame sequential input for Nvidia specific render ? (or maybe it is already but as my monitor enable 3D it cause issue ?)

Won't run on integrated GPU.

I have a hybrid laptop and I've been trying to make the companion app run on my integrated GPU, but no matter what I do It won't.

The Windows Graphics Settings seem to do absolutely nothing on my laptop.

I'm using the 2021 Asus G14 with an RTX 3060 and 5900hs.

Frame Alternation (BSI) bitwise operations not supported on target

So when I try to run the Frame Alternation(BSI) shader on world of warcraft, Reshade gives an error that it can't load the shader because of some bitwise operations not supported on target, here's the full error:

Nvidia Freestyle Error

hi,
i tested Assassin’s Creed Rogue with your shader files in the custom folder of nvidia ansel, but your shaders are crashing on start if i select them in the Geforce Experience Overlay.

In GTA 5 (story mode) and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint your shaders are not listet in the Geforce Experience Overlay.

Is Depth3D no longer compatible with nvidia freestyle ?

Companion App - Desktop duplication Api

Hi

I'm trying to run the Companion App in a Laptop Dell with a dedicated 1050ti GPU.
Unfortunately I'm not able to run in the 1050 but only in the integrated 630 intel GPU.

I have a Headset Lenovo Explorer and if the Companion app runs without the headset it shows the desktop (set to run with the ingrated GPU) if instead I plug the headset it gives me the notification above Desktop duplication Api even if I set to run with the integrated app.

Is there any workaround to fix it?

Request: 3d alternates to side by side

I have a TV where every 1st line is the left and every 2nd line is the right eye...
Can you please add a setting for this so that:

  • A. I don't loose 1/2 the horiz resolution when I change the tv to side by side
  • B. I don't have to touch the tv remote to enable 3d :P

Need help about Depth 3D side by side resolution

I have Google cardboard and a second-hand 4k screen phone.
Regularly, I use Nvidia Shield and Moonlight Android to use my phone as a wireless monitor
then project things from PC to phone, the phone and Google cardboard combined to a "low end" VR HMD.

The thing is I can only use SBS in this case, my monitor is just a Dell P2415Q which doesn't have 3D capability.

The SBS will cut resolution to half, I get only 540P in the end. In order to get 1080P, I will need to run the game in 4K resolution that my 1050ti can't handle that much.

Back to 2015, there is a tool called Hialgo switch or Hialgo boost. That tool can run game "window and UI" on full resolution, but the internal 3D render resolution is 50% of the full resolution.

So I can run a game in 4K resolution window but 3D render at 1080P as the result. This can double the valid resolution to phone and Google cardboard.

The bad is the tool isn't updated to support Direct X 11 games. And I'm playing "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition" A DX11 game. Finally end up with 540P SBS 3D.

What can I do to get 1080P SBS? Or it's not possible?

If I only have regular monitor without 3D capability, is there any glasses I can use to view 3D, other than Red & Cyan? They are losing colors.

How-to tips to access the DepthBuffer in games not on your list

Hi BlueSkyDefender and big thanks for the Depth3D!

I am "playing" with the Depth3D for some time now with diverse success. My goal is to (if possible) get it running for a series of flight simulators: Prepar3D, Flight Sim World, FSX, X Plane 11, DCS, Il2 Cliffs of Dover and Rise of Flight.

None of these is on the list of games supported.

So far, I was successful only with Flight Sim World but only when I disabled the anti-aliasing. There are some artefacts in the image but all in all it is pretty good :-)

I have gone through the various settings you suggest for various games on your list to get a flavour of what might work for the sims I list, but...

...would you have some general tips how the DepthBuffer could be usually accessed by your Depth3D? I would give it a try and report back in case of success.

Request for new mode of depth map view

Please forgive me for poor English.
Is it possible to display the original image on the left side and the depth map on the right side?
I need such a video called RGB-D to display on a "Looking Glass" stereoscopic display.

Setting for the position/offset of the rendered output.

An offset/position option, which allows to adjust the Y position of the final image, would be a nice to have.

My cheap mobilephone/VR set favors the top part of the screen, which means that I have hard time seeing the lower part of the rendered image, however, I'm seeing a large black area above it, obviously. So having an option that allows me to adjust the Y position of the image on the screen would be nice, as then I could move it upwards to see everything.

Many DirectX games crashes on AMD notebook graphics card.

Many DirectX games crashes when i try to use depth3d on my notebook that uses AMD HD 8850m (r9m200x) and Intel core i5 3320m (HD graphics 4000) ,maybe It has something to do with hybrid graphics cards. The only thing that worked was project64 OpenGL.

Companion App Keyboard Mapping

1080P @60 Hz 3D support ?

Hi, I have my PC connected to a Samsung TV with support of full 1080p 3D at 60 Hz. Is it possible to use this mode with @BlueSkyDefender Depth3D ? I can use SBS and TB but if I can get 1080p full should be muuuch more nicer...

By the way, been playing Fallout 4 and some other games in 3D with your shader and they look amazing ! I tried this a long time ago and wasn't this good, it really improved A LOT latelly, congrats !

Dual settings for barrel distortion suggestion

Would it be possibile to add the possibily tà to switch between 2 differenti sets of barrel distortion settings using a key?

In particolar i would like two different zoom levels to be abile to read the information at the corner of the screen while using the full Fov of the lenses the test of the time.
I tried to achieve this by using 2 istances of the barrel distortion FX (of course not at the same time) but on of the two always edn up in a black screen.
Another request would be to be abile to rotate the video matrix to simulate head roll using a joystick axis or another kind of input.

Polynomial barrel distortion black and white

If i use the polynomial barrel distortion shader i always get a blac and white image regardless of the saturation setting.
It seems to be related to the distortion shader becuse if i put the 3D depth. As last one i get full color (even if the image is unusable).

Depth3d and Ansel

I installed the last nvidia tree shader respository under C:\Program Files\Nvidia Corportation|Ansel\Custom (Ansel folder alone does not work thesedays), but I cannot see Depth3d in the Filter list.

I am trying to run Depth3d in Far Cry 6 but reshade tanks performance without any presets applied. Thank you

Frame sequential/HD3D possible?

Dunno if it's at all possible, but my projector is an older 3d projector that only accepts a 120hz frame sequential signal over VGA for 3d. I think there's also some kind of signal to send it into 3d mode, dunno how that works. Most games that have native 3D I select AMD HD3D and it just works, so that's probably a broader target to hit, if it's even possible. Tridef also orks through HD3D. Bino works too, but just calls it "left/right alternating" if that helps any.

How I'm supposed to use this?

I installed Reshade and this shader. I started the game and enabled the shader. But now I only have a split view on my screen. Tried using the Companion App but I oly get my screen floating on front of me with the game in split view. What I have to do to run this in VR through my headset?

Framepacking resolution

Is it possible to let the game render at e.g. 1920x1080 but force the output to be "top bottom" at framepacking resolution (1920 x 2205 24Hz). Are there other options to get 3D without loss of resolution? Thank you!

Companion aspect ratio

Aspect ratio of the companion app seems to be 16:9 regardless of the original desktop/game ratio. Would it be possible to make it manually adjustable?

[Feature Request] Halo 2 Support?

It works fo the most part, however the HUD/Weapons and Arms are separate from the scene's depth buffer. There is also a distortion effect on the crosshairs when looking around corners.

SuperDepth3D_VR+ "Performance Mode" Error with "Fable Anniversary" (DirectX 9; under Linux using Proton)

The Shader works fine with the game with "Performance Mode" disabled.

"Performance Mode" works though with the game "Bendy and the Ink Machine" which is a DirectX9 game as well
(and also logs the "preprocessor warning: Will NOT work on DirectX 9.0c and OpenGL at current resolution" warning)

I can easily live with this non-fatal glitch,
but if you are interested and need anything else for testing/debugging please let me know.

Feature Request: Full SBS

Hi,

especially for text heavy games the subsampling used to create half Side by side 3D ist not nice. With 4k Screens there would be enough room to render full side by side.
I would be using that setup together with virtual desktop and a vr headset.

World of Warships

Hello im total new here and in this theme of reshading a program /game etc hehe.

I was wondering if someone could help me with the right settings for 3D for this game... " World of Warships " i already installed reshade, its up an running , im using oculus rift S , and Virtual Desktop app in oculus also .

Problem i have is that when i activate Superdeep3D.fx and it runs but, i use in Virtual Desktop HALF SBS option and image looks good,but i need some help

to adjust the distance between my eyes, is like not perfectly adjusted.

And the mouse movement inside the game is tottally out of range , need to do magic in order to use it .

Licensing/Usage of Depth3D code for retooled shaders

Would it be okay for me to use code from this repo to make "retooled" shaders forked from crosire/reshade that use your depth linearization method? I find your Depth_Tool has the adjustments I need to make shaders work with the emulator Project64, however I need to make those adjustments in DOF and MXAO as well...

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG with Superdepth3D

I get this error about every 15 minutes on average. (Mostly with Far Cry6, but other games too) Just randomly throughout the game. I've gotten it occasionaly with other games, but this one is all the time.
Its always the same error in the log file of Reshade (see below)
Tried various resolutions and graphic settings, bios update, driver updates, but I'm shooting in the dark.

CoD: MW3 SuperDepth3D.fx compile error on ReShade 3.1.2

Im attaching a screenshot with the error description. I know this is not the latest version of ReShade by far, but its the only version that doenst make mw3 crash instantly -even with no shaders loaded-.
I recall trying out an older version of the file? where the same error was present but it worked anyway. Is there an archive for the Depth3D version files?

Note: Tried to run everything again with dgvoodoo2 jic but have gotten the same results so far.

UI Mask?

Is it possible to provide one or more masks in png format to mask UI elements? I tried using UIMask, but it excludes the masked area from being processed, rather than editing the depth map, which is what I need.

[Feature Request] Vertical Scale

In order to pull off the split-screen/side-by-side effect, SuperDepth3D horizontally scales/compressed/distorts the video output, making everything seem much thinner than it's supposed to be. It would be really cool if there was an option to scale the video output vertically as well, so that this compression/distortion of the video output could be minimized.
