Hello,

I am seeing a pattern with my AWS speed tests showing jitter/latency spikes up to roughly 120ms. The jitter amount is from about 60ms, since that is my average.

I have a new internet installation and was using AWS Speed test to gauge the reliability. I was wondering if this was normal. Screenshot attached.

e.g. send a 100MB file to different S3 buckets and timing how long they take

The numbers and figures reported by Safari are incorrect. The numbers reported are at least a factor 10 smaller when compared to Firefox/Chrome/Edge, and running speedtest under the developer tools shows no network traffic taking place. Firefox/Chrome/Edge show traffic (returning 304 no-change upon all requests to S3).

After a while, the latency graph fully stabilizes and shows no latency variation at all.

(please note that the spike in the latency graph is due to switching from Network to Console)

The AWS Israel (Tel Aviv) Region consists of three Availability Zones, giving customers more choice and flexibility to leverage advanced technologies from the world's leading cloud provider.

If you select multiple regions then unselect them and hover over a point in time you still see the unselected region stats showing all zeros.

Not an issue, more of an enhancement request.

It would be nice to be able to run a latency test over a period of time and export the results for documentation. I'm running performance tests on an AWS environment.
