Dr Tian suggested that our future in-situ experiments should consider sailing collections (both for water quality measurements and optical records) that could be used for testing membership transitions across different water types. UAV is another auxiliary means for validating the true spatial distirbutions.

With respect to the functionality of FCMm package, Dr Liu commented that the package should provide users with recommendations of which optimal algorithm(s) should be taken for the entire input data set rather than using the blending scheme (suppose he/she concentrate on the simple or effective application of remote sensing).

His second comment was that the package should be capable of determining the new input spectra thus providing a warning that new possible optical water types should be considered in our framework.
