A gnome shell extension for Linux that displays nepali date on the panel.

Customizations

If you want to customize the look and feel to your preference, then navigate to ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/nepali-date@biplab/ and add a css file. You can also edit extension.js file if you know what you are doing because it might break the extension if improperly configured.

It is important that after saving the changes, you logout and log back in to see the changes.

Note

If the extension breaks or doesn't work after having your gnome version upgraded, try uninstalling the old extension and re-install it again from the download link below.

Add gnome 46 compatibility

How to remove (B.S.) ?

I removed it from extension.js but it still show on titlebar after refresh/re-login.

Hey, i rebooted and it's gone now. ^^;

Not compatible with Gnome 43

I absolutely love this extension, but with the recent major release to Gnome, the extension seems to be incompatible with it.

Issue with New Year 2079

Hi,

Today is Happy New Year 2079 but it's not working - it is currently displaying "undefined 1, 2078 B.S."

Can you please fix the issue?

[Discussion] Current custom styles break shell-theme compatibility

The current Label stylesheet uses font-color: white, fixed font size and uses padding to center the vertical alignment.
I didn't create a pull request with my changes on this commit on my fork: IBA4@ada9a4d because this contains a new import and | is removed.
