Sketch2AE v2.0 - Shape Export support!

Now you can export shapes! To AE Shape layer! Then to Bodymovin or Lottie!
将sketch中的矢量图层导入为AE形状图层，然后就可以接入bodymovin或者Lottie了！

How to use:

In Sketch， put the shape you want to eport in an artboard, go to Plungin -> Sketch2AE -> Export Shapes

in the pop-up panel, choose the artboard, set the length and fps, then hit OK.

Open AE and run File -> Scripts -> Run Script File, select the ".jsx" file you exported.
Then you will see the magic :)

Limitations

Unfortunately, this plugin has some limitations:

Gradient Fill and Stroke are not supported. AE dosent allow script to generate gradients automaticly.
Uderlying Masks. I will do it in the future.
Texts not supported. I will do it in the future.
Flip layer not supported.
Layer styles not supported.
Features that Sketch has but AE not. Stroke position, Arrow, etc.

How to install:

1.Download the Plugin File(hit me) and unzip.
2.Double click Sketch2AE.sketchplugin.

## SK2AE v1.0 introduction.

A Sketch plugin to export sketch slice to Adobe After Effect and potisition them automatically.
Whats more, you can use the Save Frame As Photoshop Layers inside AE to export contents to Photoshop!

How to use:

Save your work on Sketch.
Select the LAYERGROUPs your want to export on the layer list(group it if the layer is not a layergroup), Run Plugins -> Sketch2AE -> Generate ExportSlices.
Run Plugins -> Sketch2AE -> Export Artboards, then on the popup panel set the composition length and FPS, pick artboards you want to export. Hit OK and choose a location to save the generated .jsx script file and slice folder.
In After Effect，run File -> Script -> Run Script File, choose the .jsx file, it will generate compositions automaticly.

**NOTE: Keep the ".jsx" file and "slice" folder under a same parent folder if you want to move it.

Back to Sketch, you can run Plugins -> Sketch2AE -> Clear ExportSlices to clear exsiting ExportSlices.

## Known Issues: * Can not export vactor shapes, editable texts, layer styles.All flatten. * By default it generate 1x slices. If you need 2x or other you have to export by hand. * Rotating or scaling of a layer will result in a big rectangle of slice * If there are missed fonts in the file, the ExportSlices might be clipping.（Try my Plungin:[`Font Packer`](https://github.com/bigxixi/Font-Packer) to pack and achive your sketch files:) ）

Doesn't work with Sketch 51

Just doesn't work. Nothing happens after export or clicking on something in the help section.

Shapes?

Does this not import vectors into AE to create shape layers?

Plugin will not properly copy code or create any .Sketchae files.

Im running the latest versions of Sketch (49.3) as well as the latest version of After Effects CC, and when I use the Sketch plugin it saves out all the relevant assets but will not copy the JSON code to my clipboard. Im left with nothing to paste into After Effects. I tried saving the selected layers but it will not generate the .sketchae file that is required to import into After Effects.

Any advice is appreciated.

能不能支持下导入文字呀

Error upon loading script in After Effects

Hey there! I've been using this excellent plug-in this week, and I wanted to report an issue I'm having with only one of my projects - after I successfully compile the jsx together in Sketch and go to import it in AE, I get the error message (image here): "Unable to execute script at line 265. Expected: ;"

I'm not sure what this means, and couldn't find any info about it. Please let me know what I can do to resolve this.

Cannot paste or export layers

Nothing happens when I export layers from sketch. No copy & paste code. No exported file(s). Nothing.

Error on line: 1473

Hi! Recently I couldn't freely copy/paste elements from Sketch to AE. It gives me an error: Error line 1473. After some investigation I found out that it is caused when you try to copy text layers. Does anyone have the same problem?

Cannot paste code or save selected layers

Sketch plugin doesn't seem to work with Sketch 49. Copy and Save selected layers doesn't seem to do anything?

Sketch2AE not working with Sketch 52

Yesterday it worked. Today it doesn't. I can't copy or save any number or type of layers and paste or open them in After Effects.

Hi,

I am having an issue with the plugin when I try to import saved files from Sketch into AE. I click on "Open layer data from sktchae file" and I get an error pop up saying "Error on line:1364"

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Support Sketch 45 plugin update system

Hi there!

This is a quick note to remind you that Sketch 45 will include a plugin update system.

It would be awesome if you could add support to it (it's really easy!) before Sketch 45 comes out. Ideally, you should release an update for your plugin while we're still in Sketch 44, so your users will have a nice & easy experience when 45 is released.
