Hello!
i hope someone could help us. We have upgraded an CR10 Clone with the above mentioned components. First we had the no printer attached error. After a llonger search on google we found a video which helped us to solve the error (which showed us which changes we had make in Marlin and what we didn´t need to change).
After that we got it running without the error and we were able to move alll axis and everything was fine.
Then we decided to upgrade the Extruder and Hotend and left the printer alone for a few days without touching it. After the new parts arrived we swapped them with the old parts and powered the machine on and there is the "no printer attached" error again.
In the time between we didn´t change anything on the firmware and we didn´t touch any cable, so what am i missing here ?
Why is the error occuring again and how can i finally get rid of it ?

Edit: I just flashed the firmware of the Board and Display (again) to the last working version, but it still says no printer attached . Now i have the exact same software versions running on board and display like the last time when the message disappeared after a few seconds running. But now the errors stays......what am i missing ???

Also how do I enable 12864 mode?

No matter how far along the print is, the display just shows 0%.

Hello ! Am I the only one how can't open the "TFT3.5-V2.0 manual.docx " ?

When I saw that there was a new document for the screen, I was happy to have a possible solution for my upload issues, but no, this document is useless if we can not open it ...

@bigtreetech Can you post the document so that it can be read? In PDF maybe?

• Updated the display to TFT35_V2.0.25.1
  -Updated the motherboard to Marlin-bugfix-2.0.x

But when I put the power on, i have a message error "No printer attached !"

i have tft 35 v2 with skr v1.3
the baud rate of each other 115200
why can't connect on board.

any one help me?

I have an issue with the configuration.h and configuration_adv.h.
I dont know what parameters change or modify.
Anyone can help me? Thanks for advance!

Hello. I'm trying to update my Ender 3 with Marlin 2.0.5.3 and I'm having issues getting to Graphical Display to Connect to the printer. I have followed many ideas on here trying to get the touch display to work. The simulated display works just fine though and I can control the printer. But I would like to get the touch display to operate. Here is what I have:

How do I connect the TFT35 v2.0 with SKR-E3-DIP-V1.0 ?
The cable that came with the TFT screen fits perfectly in the 232 slot on the TFT, but the 5 cables with 1 loose on the other end how should they be connected on the SKR board?

I want to know how to connect this (TFT35 v2.0, no E3) to Ender 3.

I have The BIGTREETECH TFT35 V2.0 and have it connected to an MKS SBASE v1.3. I am looking for the proper LCD to comment in in Marlin 2.0 in order to have the LCD connect to the control board. Regardless of the option I comment in the LCD continues to display "no printer attached"

Using the TFT70 v3 on the SKR Mini E3 V2 on and Ender 3 Pro with BLTouch and BTT smart filament sensor and I've had several bugs:

• On several occasions I've had the print start and things heat up well and then cool by the time bed leveling is done. Once it's ready to start the nozzle reads 100 degrees and the print starts anyways. The extruder doesnt move but the X and y axis move in the pathways of the print with nothing coming out. This is in Marlin mode

• In TFT mode, I keep getting freezes and resets on taking arbitrary actions like storing settings.

• When I pause a print in TFT mode I get never ending notification prompts to the point that I have to reset everything. I can't actually use TFT mode as there are just too many bugs

• I see zero notifications of status for the filament sensor ( BTT smart sensor) in TFT mode. I have to print only from Marlin mode as that is the only place a filament sensor breakage workflow works. It's disappointing that BTT's own tech doesn't play well each other.

I really like the concept of the TFT and the UI but it disappointingly doesn't feel well tested and ready for prime time.

Which port to use on the TFT35 v2.0 ?
"SWD" or "RS32" ?
The others don't fit.

And this cable goes to "TFT" on the SKR1.3, right?

"Power" is not needed?

Is there a way for both this screen and the octoprint be in sync? If i start a print on octoprint only the temperatures are reported and the screen wont change to "print" mode. I'm using it together with an SKR E3 DIP.

I upgraded firmware of my BTT TFT35 V2.0 to version TFT35_V2.0.25.1 (Jan 11 2020), but when the initial screen loads up, it's corrupted (most of icons are missing and bottom middle area is filled with a "noise").
Please, do you suffer from the same issue? What could be the reason and fix?

working on my new printer with GTR and M5 I managed to have quite a few additional features, but I can´t manage to Access additional extruders and fans. There´s no swapping while tapping on nozzles or fan keys.

Hi, I just recently purchased SKR 1.3 and TFT 35 V2.0 Finally today started working on it and changed it from MKS GenL with stock Ender 3 display to this one and now I can not enable mesh bed levelling. This was all working fine on MKS but not sure now if this is problem with Marlin 2.0 on board or something with display itself. When I press Levelling on display it only homes all axes and does nothing more afterwards.

Hi, I have a TFT35 V2.0 with ESP01S attached. I am connected to my home WiFi. However, it is not working to transfer files to the SD card located in TFT35. Can anyone help? Thanks

When the print starts, the temps climb properly. Once the print is finished, the temp indicators stay at print temperatures event though the bed and extruder are cooling down. After a print, even when the bed and extruder are completely cold, the temps still indicate 60 and 200. So far three issues on this TFT screen. Not a good start.

When the print is complete I press STOP on the screen and the screen goes black and it says loading but it just stays blank and does not return to home screen. Only way to reset is by powering off the printer, (ender 3)

Also when printing onboard sd card via tft it doesnt complete the print correctly instead of following finish g code it just stops on the print doesnt turn off steppers or heaters
Any help would be appreciated

After connecting the Lcd, it boots up fine. I can control the bed and extruder temperature with no issues. However, when I start a print and then manually hit Stop, the print stops, but the extruder and bed heaters stay at temperature. If I try to stop the temperature manually, it goes to zero for a split second but immediately goes back to 220 and 60 respectively. The heaters stay on and apparently can't be turned off other than shutting the power supply off. What's going on here?

Adding more pages and custom settings. or custom GUI. background image, transparent icons. what bigtreetech displays in their YouTube product video is different. did someone notice?

By the way, if I connect filament runout sensor on TZ2, do I need to modify software or this feature is already done in the original firmware?
