bigtreetech-skr-v1.1's Issues

Pinout map is incorrect

The pinout map does not correspond with the marlin pins file. This is a bit of an issue for setting spi pins properly

Marlin 2.0 #define SKR_USE_LCD_PINS_FOR_CS

When using the LCD connector (EXP 1 and EXP 2) for controlling all axis and extruders there is an issue when it comes to using the default P1.31(EXP 2 pin 4) for E1, this pin has a 2k2 pull up to VCC which is too strong a pull up resulting in a failure to communicate with the device. A simple solution is to just remap E1_CS_PIN to P1.30 (the Buzzer pin) and map the buzzer to P1.31.

Hopefully this keeps someone from having a bad day trying to debug.

Error compiling marlin 2.0 skr v1.1 version in platformio

the marlin 2.0 firmware does not compile with the current version of platformio. Does anyone have a new version which works? i get an error message, which i do not get with the current official release of marlin. As i am a noob and not capable of configuring a stock marlin to work with the SKR v1.1 board i am hoping someone here can help me out........
thanks in advance!

Koen

[question]

This board has support for servo (bltouch + 2 runout sensors)? And more 2 digital ports unused, to be seted by user on firmware?
thank you

4 Axis

Hello,

Can I ask You, if is possible configure BIGTREETECH-SKR board to 4 Axis, like XYZ and C (rotary).

Thanks

2004A display

Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to use this display with this board and how should be the configuration file to make it works.

From now with the default configuration I'm only able to see black rectangles with the backlight on.

Thanks.

Thermistor pin issue

Long story short I believe i shorted my thermistor pin on the board and can no longer read the signal. I wanted to change the pin from thermistor 0 to thermistor 1. I tried it with another 100k thermistor and still same reading so I am going to assume it is the board itself. Anyway to fix it in a software way.

ZProbe always triggered

I have a printrbot simple metal that i added this board to. it previously was using a KFB2.0 that burned out. the Z probe owrked fine on that board.
Now, after enabling the pulldown in marlin 2.0.x, and trying to invert the min logic within marlin, i cannot get it to stop saying TRIGGERED, or OPEN, if i flip the logic.
Any suggestions??

not working sd reader with a new firmware on SKR V1.1 #77

On SKR V1.1 stopped worked a sd card reader on LCD screen after update to a new marlin firmware
helps only use from previous file version pins_BIGTREE_SKR_V1.1.h from github

Smart LCD adapter
The Smart LCD adapter can be used for the two 10 pin LCD controllers such as
REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER. It can't be used for controllers that use
DOGLCD_A0, DOGLCD_CS, LCD_PINS_D5, LCD_PINS_D6 or LCD_PINS_D7. A custom cable
is needed to pick up 5V for the EXP1 connection.
SD card on the LCD uses the same SPI signals as the LCD. This results in garbage/lines
on the LCD display during accesses of the SD card. The menus/code has been arranged so
that the garbage/lines are erased immediately after the SD card accesses are completed.
