It was my understanding that patch was idempotent, however a colleague just noted that the RFC states...
PATCH is neither safe nor idempotent as defined by [RFC2616], Section 9.1.
methods.tex
does not reflect this.
I really like these pdfs as a cheat sheet, would love it if you could update them.
Here's the description on the poster:
Transfer-Encoding The method of encoding used to transfer the response (defined methods: chunked, compress, deflate, gzip, identity)
compress, deflate, gzip are all possible values of the Content-Encoding header, not Transfer-Encoding. The only possible values for Transfer-Encoding are chunked or identity.
Simply something to consider. WebDAV extends HTTP/1.1 by adding some additional verbs, perhaps it may be useful to include them in the headers chart?

levity ๐ :-)
There should be an easily viewable image of the posters available. png seems fine. Should be part of the build process.
This will be useful when we have the posters on a website so that people without adobe can still see.
Is there a spec for the Status header?

A0 is very large, which means the prints are expensive, and the size is probably overkill for the amount of data on these posters. We should attempt to produce readable posters at size A1 in order to be more manageable.
The Makefile has some repetition which is possible to factor out.
Just to DRY up the current one a bit.
Tested only on OSX.
