Installation

In the shell:

# Checkout the project
git clone https://github.com/bigchaindb/bdb-transaction-cli/
cd bdb-transaction-cli

# Create python virtual environment and install requirements
virtualenv -p `which python3` .env
. .env/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements_dev.txt

# Install the `bdb` executable into the virtual environment
python setup.py develop

Documentation for wrapper authors

Write a guideline how developers can use this to easily implement wrappers for the programming language of their choice (ie, using process api).

Integrate into docs.bigchaindb.com

Analyze how well the user's needs are served by the current documentation and adjust as necessary.

Use pyinstaller to automatically create an executable

and if possible automatically deploy that to OS-package-manager-repositories

Missing test for signed transfer tx

Rename to bigchaindb-cli

The provided executable would still be bdb, like before, but the scope would be generalized a bit to "The" bigchaindb cli, whatever that entails. The bigchaindb server executable would remain bigchaindb.

On BigchainDB 0.8 release upgrade dependency in setup.py

Timestamps are removed in the future 0.8 release.
The CLI's bigchaindb dependency needs to be updated in that regard.

Fix test_requirements in setup.py

As title says, fix test_requirements in setup.py. Perhaps it's not needed at all....

Fix --asset argument in examples.rst

In examples.rst, in the create example, the --asset argument is not properly quoted because of a limitation in the code which creates the examples. Currently it is not a harmful bug, but it should be fixed.
