simrobot's Issues

Adding a texture from an image

Hello!

I've been attempting to figure this out for the past day or so but I am not sure how the texture system works in SimRobot.
I created a scene and added a body (simply 0.5m cube). I attempted multiple common texture patterns but no matter what I try, it never works.

A few examples of what I tried:

  • eee
  • ccc
  • ddd

However nothing works and I simply can't figure out the logic behind it.
What is consistent is that the top and bottom sides of the cube get some sort of pattern on them, while the sides get an extended version of the pattern.
Here is an example (for the second pattern I gave):

Do you have any documentation that goes deeper on the aspects behind adding custom objects and texturing them?

Moving Objects in SimRobot

I have a scene containing a ball. I wanted to apply some force so that the ball rolls in a direction according to specified speed based on applied force. The translation defined as part of scene configuration file translates the object in beginning when scene is loaded. I need guidance to move objects in simulator from one place to another after some specified time. Pl guide where I can find the documentation

User Manual

Is there some detailed documentation available to use SIMROBOT for BHuman Code release? Or some tutorials on how to check different code modules in simulation environment. The code release documentation is confusing. Also, is there any active community where we can get help quickly.
Another thing, do I need to calibrate joints and camera before running simulation or is it only for hardware robot. A quick reply is appreciated
