If you want to render badges inside your own project's readme files, check out the meta builder projectz which uses this package for badge rendering.

Adding a badge

If you there is a badge that you believe will be common enough for others to benefit from, send in a pull request. Each pull request should:

  1. Add the badge rendering code to the appropriate category section inside source/badges.js
  2. If your badge requires a script to run, it should have badgeScript = true - see other badges for an example
  3. Also remember to export your badge
  4. Add the badges test data to the test file source/test.js
  5. Add the badge configuration information to this readme file README.md
  6. Add the badge name to the keyword field of package.json

These changes can be done in multiple commits or the same, it doesn't matter, as we will squash the commits on merge. We will also the changelog entry, so you don't need to do.

The property '#/update_configs/0/automerged_updates/0/match/update_type' value "security" did not match one of the following values: all, security:patch, semver:patch, semver:minor, in_range

Installation stucks after version 4.10.0

Hi,

npm install badges stucks after version 4.10.0 for some projects, but not others.

When I investigate the problem, I saw badges has exact same dependencies and devDependencies in package.json from 4.10.0 on. One or more development related modules such as eslint, typescript, prettier, typedoc installed by badges collide with my projects'.

I thought they were added by accident. Is there a reason to add eslint, typescript, prettier, typedoc and other development related libraries to dependencies?

Thanks,

add FOSSA license scan badges

Hello all,

I'm with FOSSA. Our service scans popular open source projects for license violations to keep them and their users (esp. from larger companies) clean. Currently, the maintainers of Webpack, Terraform, ESLint, containerd (Docker) and more depend on us to build trust with their community. You may have already seen our badge around, but it looks like this:

image

I spotted jquery-scrollto as a great project that could benefit from this, and I wanted to see if we could offer our service for free to help support it, and your other projects.

If interested, can you sign up at fossa.io, import jquery-scrollto and then shoot me a note? You'll then receive the PR to add the badge to your projects :) thanks!

Badges are slow and fail

Why are the badges taking like 3-5 seconds or more to load and most of the time at leastone fails completely!?
