Hi, I tried your two plugins custom-contact-form-plugin and email additional fields.
I enabled them and filled the contact form. When I clicked send, I got the above message and the field was in red.

Not sure if you'll be able to help. But the newer versions of Joomla are starting to exhibit some odd behavior. For example with this plugin (using the custom advanced-sensors branch) I've tried a handful of simple fixes, but the JavasScript that's included for handling the country/state drop downs is only included with caching turned off, or when it's cleared. With the latter it will show up the first page load and then disappear afterward. Disabling the cache is not much of a solution. Any thoughts? Should I be redoing the plugin. Perhaps reconstructing a new version using the 1.0.1 version in the master branch?
