Security issue from Hakiri: ** DISPUTED ** SQL injection vulnerability in the 'reorder' method in Ruby on Rails 5.1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the 'name' parameter. NOTE: The vendor disputes this issue because the documentation states that this method is not intended for use with untrusted input.

Slack has had a notification for years now about how any day now they're going to deprecate webhook actions. I don't know if I believe them, but just in case we should see if there is a better way to send information to Slack channels.

This is more than of an RFC type of thing than an out an out issue, though you are welcome to tackle the challenge if you would like.

Right now if people want webhooks or such I need to hop into the rails console and make it happen. Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was an admin or behind the scenes interface that could make that happen? It would be. I welcome comment, ideas, pull requests, etc. The tricky part, imo, is going to be figuring out how to assign permissions and so on. Can we get that info from Slack?

Somehow in the 2+ years since coffeebot first came online, test coverage has slipped, then fallen by the wayside. If you'd like to you can contribute as much or as little to the test suite as you'd like. Feel free to reach out if there's any way I can help out. (I might do some or all of this myself, but I don't know when, so I figure I will make an issue.)
