Just need a pair of date pickers. May start with simple select-based widgets for month and day, and enter year? Then filter on this range. Add date range filter to the services.

Most likely to get the document composition site, from the colophon. Should come through into TEI. There are plenty of cases in which composition site differs from the origins of the people. So this implies that we may need assertions of origin on people (citations), unless and until we can get this from the documents.
A simple model presumes Oracc is generating these from ATF. Since this is unlikely at this point, need to create a subtask to recognize and enhance the TEI to mark up locations.

Need to look at CSpace date support and probably show a literal archaic date (as imported or entered) and not convert a julian back to an archaic. Tis is trivial once we have the data model.

Kind of like name variants, but tied to individuals in at least some cases. So can normalize to another name, and can also indicate a given person. Once we have a model for nicknames, then the assertion says that a given nickname actually applies to a given person. May have to consider different cases: 1) nickname is just like a diminutive for another name, and 2) nickname is tied to a Person.
Need to distinguish this from double names, where users can assert that a given Person had more than one name. May do this implicitly by asserting that two citations are the same, and code sees that there is no overlap in names.

Need a mechanism for incorporating a date converter into the system. Need a date converter for this corpus. This would be based upon some tables found in the literature. Can write a custom converter as long as it plogs in to the framework.

Just use some patterns and markers, and make this independent of the current services and model - i.e., it should process TEI, and add markup to TEI, based upon the markers or patterns. Laurie has identified some patterns and markers (templates). Laurie will prepare some example

This presumes some "vocabularies" of attributes, which must be extensible somehow. E.g., assert rank, social status, etc.? May need to think about the model of built-in features vs. extension features, so that we can have rules on anything without lots of special cases. note that int he general case, feature classes/types will be very corpus, era-specific.

Allows user to "set" the name of the activity in a document. Should probably provide a list of existing activities, and allow them to add a new one. Must also be able to anchor the assertion, but DocIds should be more stable than element IDs. Can use the external P-number for now. Problem is that in the general case, a document can have multiple activities, so really must assert that a given activity has name "foo".
