I was wondering if there is a way to get the set of row that are currently filtered. I haven't been able to find a way to get the filtered view of records.

Requiring width to be defined forces users of this grid to put styling concerns into the grid. Not to mention pixel-only support forces a non-responsive design.

If the grid needs to calculate a column's width, it should do so lazily.

I'm really liking the no jQuery dependency and granular plugin build-your-own grid architecture you have here over KnockoutContrib's grid, but this is a big problem.

Why is a primaryKey needed? why can't I just render some columns?

With Griddle for example, if you have an array of objects, that's all you need. You should strive to simplify this API.
