I tagged a stared github repo, but the tags missing when I refresh or restart Chrome.
what's wrong?
Chrome: ็ๆฌ 50.0.2661.102 m
OS: Win 10 14342
To be able to know if people are hitting the limits of chome.storage.sync
we need to add simple analytics tracking.
There needs to be a feature to search repos by tags.
It would be great if there was a way to now find repos by searching using the tags used.
Ideally I'd like this to be frictionless:
Use the provided searchfield from github
Input a few tags (using autocomplete?)
search results appear inline as normal search results
This would require a bit of work and also means re-making lots of GH's ui.
First, This extension is so good, Thanks for you put it open source.
Next, If you can add a tag name Untag , which to put untag star in it, it must be great.
Sort by use seems to work but then within this, alphanumerical seems to produce odd results.
There are two ways to get to my stars page:
https://github.com/stars
and by using the /username?tab=stars
https://github.com/xyzzy529?tab=stars
https://github.com/artisologic?tab=stars
Your extension knows about the 1st way, but not the second.
The second URL is produced when you click you Account Headshot (upper right corner) and select "Your Stars" from the dropdown menu.
One thing to watch out for is if you look at another user's stars page then should the Extension allow editing? (I think probably not)
But it would be cool to see how the other person tagged repos and filter on it.
Great Extension, thanks for your time!
Is this project discontinued? Since it looks the maintainer is not active, I'm tempted to fork this repo and fix some stuff.
does it still work? maybe not?
it does not work in my chrome now
thanks
Would be nice to have a way to modify (rename/delete) the tag globally, rather than doing it repo-per-repo.
One possible solution would be to do it directly via the sidebar.
There is potential for confusion if the user just blurs out for example.
I think it would be nice to have a tag "overlay" as soon as the user stars a repo.
Possibly related to #3
Thus, I can quickly goto my similar projects .
If tags have been added to a repo but then the repo is unstarred, it will still count/show in the sidebar.
