a bit of search in Hero's directory structure...
find -iname tun.ko returns nothing, no /dev/tun device, I do not know if it is
related but I would like to mention it.

I will need a logcat to have an idea of what's going on... but without a tun
device,
this won't work. I can't help with that part... unless Wade can.
