react-redux-firebase-boilerplate's Issues

Code needs to be updated

project not behaving as mentioned in readme if anyone has updated information on this boilerplate please post!

Deploy issue

You have to change file .firebaserc, to match your productID ,too. Otherwise, it won't deploy it.

Deploy to Firebase

Thanks for this boilerplate. Really happy using it.

I'm having troubles deploying to Firebase.
I did:
firebase init
firebase deploy

How did you deploy your app to Firebase?
Are you using public folder or dist for deploying the app to Firebase or what?

Thanks

Fix coding style?

Just cloned the repo and found that many errors prompted after npm run test.

It should be fixed, otherwise, eslint will be kind of useless for people trying to build projects based on this repo.

Twitter authentication not working

OS: Windows Pro 10
Browser: Chrome Version 52.0.2743.60 beta-m (64-bit)
NPM: version 3.9.5
Node: 6.2.2

So, I un-comment:

<a href="#" className="btn btn-info bt-social" onClick={()=>{this.loginWithProvider("twitter")}} data-provider="twitter">Twitter</a>

but when clicked, nothing happens, no pop-up windows is presented.

I'm expecting the same functionality,as when the facebook icon is clicked, that being the pop-up window is presented.

What's the issue here?

How to serve static files?

Hi,

Thank you for the boilerplate. One question: how would I serve some static files?

I have a theme I'm trying to add that has a few .js and .css file that need to be served. I can't figure out how to do it.

i.e. in my index.html file

 <script src="./js/bootstrap-datetimepicker.js"></script>
  <script src="./js/bootstrap-selectpicker.js"></script>

Login is not persistant

Hi,

Thanks for your work on this.

I've tried a couple browsers (including mobile) and it seems that the user does not keep their "logged" in status after refreshing the browser. Is there a way to rectify this?

Thanks

Not working on Mobile browsers

Hi,

I've tested on both Chrome & Safari- the page loads, but "login" doesn't work. It does not direct to a new page after a password is entered. It also doesn't give error message when the incorrect password is entered.

how to deploy to heroku

sorry total noob here. trying to deploy this to heroku. can you please advise what i need to change to get this working in production?

Can't find "firebase:authUser" in localStorage

In utils/authenticated.js:
const key = Object.keys(localStorage).find(e => e.match(/firebase:authUser/));
That key does not exist in my localStorage when I am not logged in.
And so the function isn't working due to TypeError: data is null. Instead of getting redirected, I get an error.

How can implement Modular CSS on this project

How can implement Modular CSS on this project. this is what i have done so far in my webpack config.

  webpackConfig.module.loaders.push({
      test: /\.scss$/,
      loader: ExtractSASS.extract(['style', 'css-loader?modules&importLoaders=1&localIdentName=[name]__[local]___[hash:base64:5]', 'sass']),
    });
  } else {
    webpackConfig.plugins.push(
      new Webpack.HotModuleReplacementPlugin()
    );

    webpackConfig.module.loaders.push({
      test: /\.scss$/,
      loaders: ['style','css-loader?modules&importLoaders=1&localIdentName=[name]__[local]___[hash:base64:5]', 'sass'],
    });

Is there something wrong with this.

also here is picture of my file structure

Please let me know what the best way to do this?
