"DEM" should be blue and "REP" should be red.

Our project so far is to find a relationship between contributions of candidates and general election wins. Variables to focus on are: Cand_name, contribution # (number of rows the candidate appeared in), sum of contributions, party, win (0 or 1).

We want to combine the house elections ge_winner variable to the contribution1 table.

There project is done. Everything is fine. I just wanted to try this. :)

Some candidates receive low contributions that the bars are very small. This makes it difficult to distinguish which candidates receive very low funding and which candidates receive no contributions. We need to find a way to label the very low contribution amounts

When we were wrangling the house elections and contributions datasets, we noticed there are a lot of contributions made by third party committees or even unknown party committees. I think that we should focus on Democrats and Republicans as these are the largest parties during the house election. Though I am also not sure if that would infect our data's accuracy.

Zixian is in charged of revising the code, adding comments and writing codes for the count
Lily works on writing the blog post and functions

Need to outline the bars to differentiate which candidates are the winners

The cand name, committe name in the tables I wanna join are not consistent, such as the capitalization. How could we join tables?
