SHAMan is an out-of-the-box Web application to perform black-box auto-tuning of custom computer components running on a distributed system, for an application submitted by a user. It relies on black-box auto-tuning to find the components' parametrization that are the most efficient in terms of execution time. More details can be found at https://shaman-app.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user-guide/launching/
For now, the settings of every sub-package is located in the sub-package, but a better way to do this is to have them all grouped into the same module in the shaman-core sub-package.
For now, when using a command line, only parameters requiring a flag are registered. We want to be able to take into account parameters that are used with a =.
Users should be able to add their components through an append mechanism instead of replace, which also requires the possibility to delete the component through an interface.
2020-12-10 23:58:54.017 | CRITICAL | bb_wrapper.run_experiment:run:76 - Encountered exception while launching experimentccpe_sbb_small: [Errno 24] Too many open files
When running with the I/O accelerator SBB with 2240 iterations.
This is due to not closing the file when parsing the slurm output.
For now, at the end of an experiment, only an aggregated run is possible to see, which makes it complicted to vizualize. Change this through a toggled view.
