wordflow's Issues

Number of occurrences indicator

The number of times a particular path occurs in the results tree should be indicated in some way. This could be by:

  • Adjusting the size of the text
  • Having a numeric count next to each word
  • Using color to indicate more/less common words

Highlight pathways

The user should be able to click on any word displayed in the graph. When one is clicked, all of the associated forward/backward path lines should be highlighted. This may be in addition to other things that happen on-click.

Scrolling scriptures

When the mouse if over the sidebar, scrolling should not zoom the graph. In-particular, scrolling through the list of scriptures should not change the graph.

Scale words when graph zooms

When the graph/tree is zoomed in and out, scale the size of the nodes so that nodes that are overlapping can be read.

Add about/credits page

Create a page or pop-up to explain the purpose of the application, how it works, and give credits.

Path highlighting has odd behavior

See the screenshot below

Settings are:

Notice how the path between "him." - "And" is highlighted, but the selected node should be the "But". This is because both of those nodes have Mat 3:15 as a verse.

Might want to change the way that a node on the path is determined to fix this.

Multi-word search

The user should be able to search for a multi-word sequence (phrase). For example, if the user wants to be able to search for the graph for the phrase "word flow" if should show the graph of word sequences leading up to and following this pairing.

Change logo

The logo was created using a logo generator. Make my own instead.

Add result limiter

There should be a way to limit the "matches" that are displayed in the tree/graph to the top N results.

Click on word in graph should show more info

When you click on any words in the graph/tree, there should be a window that provides more info on the word: Total count, definition of word, translation to other language, strongs number, etc.

Select node on mouse-down

When selecting a node in the tree/graph, the selection should only happen on initial mouse down. In it's current state, dragging can cause a different node to be selected.

Click-path reveal

When the user clicks on a word in the graph, reveal the entire graph along those highlighted paths.
