If i try to use the webmentions helper as just shown it throws me an error sayng it does not know the webmentions function... i can't recognize why... can you help me?

I installed the plugin and made the https://webmention.rocks Endpoint discovery test post. (http://blog.alexanderkucera.com/microblog/snippet_webmention_test)

The plugin does create the .webmentions folder and inside the pings.json file. However, the file only contains [] and hence no web mentions get sent. Can I debug this somehow on my end?

I started using your plugin, and then I needed it to do some more, so I forked. And that grew. And now people are using my fork. But... I realise that this repo is not licensed, so I don't actually know what I can and can not do.

Would you mind to add one? Thanks!

I tried to load the plugin into my project but it seems like that it prevents page models to load. I come to this conclusion because every page model returns nothing when webmentions is in my plugin folder.

Maybe you have somewhere the time to find the problem in the code. I'm trying to do it also.

A parameter or multiple to define if nofollow, noreferer and noopener should be used for the links to the source of the mention.

On websites with enabled safe mode, especially managed hosting, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION can not be used and throws an exception.

We have to use a workaround or just comment out the line in /vendor/mf2.php.

When a mention is sent from twitter, then @-names (Twitter names) in the text should be converted into links.

Standard links in texts should also be clickable …
