This not a a problem, this is an enhancement.
pkg should give the flexibility for the user to do following actions
1. Create a map (user opens the html page in the browser) -- already exists
2. application wants to accept some points from this created map
3. application will use the given points from the user.
This will help lot of application developers and this functionality is not
supported in pygmaps.

I would like to add labels to the points of the map generated by pygmaps. I've
read somewhere that the function has been implemented but the version available
for the download doesn't have such feature. Is it possible to update the
library version? Thanks. LM.

Hi,
I had to use InfoWins in my project and I've added them to your library for my
own use. I think it's nice to share so could you review and eventually merge
patches attached ?
Best regards
Dawid

I'm not sure if it an issue… i haven't noticed it before, but now it bothers
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. path = [(37.429, -122.145),(37.428, -122.145),(37.427, -122.145),(37.427,
-122.146),(37.427, -122.146)]
2. mymap.addpath(path,"#00FF00")
3. path
[(37.429, -122.145), (37.428, -122.145), (37.427, -122.145), (37.427,
-122.146), (37.427, -122.146), '#00FF00']
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected unchanged path[], because it is needed for other purposes.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I have been unable to find any contact information from the author, nor any
support mailing lists for this wrapper.
I have been working on some updates for this wrapper, to bring it up to Google
Maps v3 support, and to add additional features (Goto Location Buttons, Info
Points w/Text, etc), along with allowing the HTML / Javascript code to be
returned as a string, for direct web server use...
I would like to merge these changes into the wrapper, to allow other people to
use the updated code.
Could the author please contact me, so that we can discuss this...
