There are some dialogs where a white font is displayed on top of a white background and hence, nothing can be seeing. See this example for Startup Applications (Dropbox entry):
And I'm also seeing this white font on white background/control in one standalone application I use (IBM Lotus Sametime).
This is how this Preferences dialog look like when using default theme (or other theme):
Adwaita theme
OSX-Arc-White theme
If you could take a look on this, I'd really appreaciate!
And thanks for this GREAT theme! Nice job!
Thanks for this great looking theme!
I see the following error/warning messages when I start Nautilus from terminal in Ubuntu 16.10 which might help you make some further improvements:

However, a more important issue with nautilus is that white border between the titlebar and location/toolbar, which also appears in gedit:
I have white bg issue just discussed here:
linuxmint/cinnamon#3953 (comment)
issues are indicated in bold
Summary of issues:
May I suggest a stand alone dark theme just as Win10?
note the mac icon is black but the other icons on the opposite side are white
some of the icons are invisible (or nearly) because they are white and the background is also white
Note blurred fonts under switch.
are the white buttons coloured white intentionally? (top left corner)
Black title bar even if global dark theme is switched off (similar to terminal)

Hi,
Any chance that budgie-desktop support could be added with these themes?
As you can see - the top bar, sidebar are not themed correctly. This is because budgie-desktop has a couple of unique CSS elements - the .budgie and .raven stuff here https://github.com/budgie-desktop/budgie-desktop/blob/master/src/theme/3.20/sass/_main.scss
Some issues on nemo file manager:
Menù buttons bar is in wrong color!?
While renaming or creating a new folder/file there is no text selection
It should be like this (but it should select only text, not icon)!?:
Selected element in Cinnamon main application menù and options menù are quiet unreadable
And even the calendar is the same...
I see three different effects in the menubar:
Can you please check, the notifications in Cinnamon remains dark in light mode.
Can you please implement theme support for global menu for cinnamon
It is based on https://github.com/lestcape/Global-AppMenu/
When you cannot navigate your history with the Back and Forward buttons the icon is very dark
like when a window is unfocused. In Mac OS Sierra these buttons would be grayish.
The screenshot on the Top is Mac OS Sierra with Safari, and on the Bottom is Gnome Web 3.25.2 in Gnome 3.25.3 with the macOS-Sierra theme.
just done a fresh clone of the repo today (ubuntu budgie 17.04)
after running budgie-panel --replace
I see the following theme warnings being reported.
Synaptic Package Manager displays a patchy toolbar with blank area to the right using a different bgcolor.
In the past (GTK 3.18 or lower), adding something like the following would fix it, but now it seems we need something else.
GtkHandleBox {
color: @toolbar_fg_color;
background-color: @toolbar_bg_color;
background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom,
shade(@toolbar_bg_color, 1.00),
shade(@toolbar_bg_color, 0.90)
);
}
Hi how can I install and set this up on debian please?
This is an excellent gtk theme. However, there are a few things which can possibly be improved on Cinnamon.
In addition, in a few cases the black font on blue buttons is not completely legible (possibly because of the contrast).
The new code has unfortunately brought not only pleasant improvements, but also some unpleasant issues. And LibreOffice is affected worse than other apps.
The biggest eyesore is the black bgcolor in horizontal and vertical rulers, and built-in dialogboxes such as in Options, Customize, Macros...
And there is also the dark hover effect on toolbar which looks very much different from the rest.
Hello,
I saw that the space between the checkbox/radiobox and the label is too tight, I think it will be better if there's some more margin between them.
This is the first time I've edited a GTK theme, I don't think I do a good job this time, so please tell me your opinion and take a look at: https://github.com/thenewvu/OS-X-El-Capitan/commit/390b22ed3dd80708f14d15ea3410e381b86a7349.
Thank you, it's a beautiful theme by the way 👍
It seems there's something wrong here. I have a feeling that the location bar buttons on the left should have the same looks as the toolbar buttons on the right, but they look different, sort of "incomplete"...
Also, the popup menu items in the sidebar need a little more space in between.
Finally, I'm not sure if the right border of the sidebar if exactly what you want (for there was a fine/thin border there in the previous version).
Would be cool to have a dark theme option for Metacity and also Cinnamon... :)
Firstly, HOLY CRAP, you turned a good theme into a BRILLIANT one!
Secondly, I'd look to take this issue to say that Slingshot deserves a bit more attention on your Cinnamon, text is still white, selection boxes would look better, etc... It would be amazing as hell if it weren't for those UI errors...
Please mention recommended icon themes in README file. Or at least, the icon theme used in screenshots.
hello how can i install this theme for kali linux 2016
I think will be good if add plank theme on macOS-Sierra. For example this add on elementary GTK theme by default:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~elementary-design/egtk/master/files/head:/plank/
If plank installed - this theme will be used when change GTK Theme by default
helo there, i'm unable to install this theme to install in ubuntumate.
I'm not sure if this is a design choice, but the screenshots gave me an impression that it's not.
The Unity panel bgcolor is much lighter than title/headerbar, and this results in a sort of inconsistency especially when a window is maximized, and Unity top panel also serves as the title/headerbar.
So I thought a minor tweak could produce a more consistent appearance.
The section I've changed in the file unity.css is this:
UnityPanelWidget,
.unity-panel {
border-width: 0 0 1px 0;
border-style: solid;
border-color: @panel_bg_color;
background-color: @panel_bg_color;
background-image: none;
color: @panel_fg_color;
}
.unity-panel.menubar,
.unity-panel .menubar {
}
.unity-panel.menuitem,
.unity-panel .menuitem {
border-width: 0 1px;
color: @panel_fg_color;
}
.unity-panel.menubar.menuitem:hover,
.unity-panel.menubar .menuitem *:hover {
background-image: none;
color: shade(@panel_fg_color, 1.08);
}
And the change I've made is this:
UnityPanelWidget,
.unity-panel {
border-width: 0 0 1px 0;
border-style: solid;
border-color: @titlebar_bg_color;
background-color: @titlebar_bg_color;
background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom,
shade(@titlebar_bg_color, 1.15),
shade(@titlebar_bg_color, 1.1)
);
color: mix(@titlebar_fg_color, @titlebar_bg_color, 0.1);
}
.unity-panel.menubar,
.unity-panel .menubar {
}
.unity-panel.menuitem,
.unity-panel .menuitem {
border-width: 0 1px;
color: mix(@titlebar_fg_color, @titlebar_bg_color, 0.1);
}
.unity-panel.menubar.menuitem:hover,
.unity-panel.menubar .menuitem *:hover {
background-color: @titlebar_bg_color;
background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom,
shade(@titlebar_bg_color, 1.15),
shade(@titlebar_bg_color, 1.1)
);
color: mix(@titlebar_fg_color, @titlebar_bg_color, 0.1);
}
Now I'm not 100% sure if the Unity top panel should better have a bottom border or not...
I seem to get a gradient on the title bar. Windows in the background seem to work fine.
Is there a way to disable this to look more like the screenshots on the gallery page

ubuntu gnome 17.04
gtk+ 3.22
Very nice theme, thanks a lot! The only issue I have with it is on xfwm, the close button comes last:
That's easy enough to fix:
diff --git a/xfwm4/themerc b/xfwm4/themerc
index a95f09b..ea84fda 100755
--- a/xfwm4/themerc

After applying that it looks all right:
Same goes for the dark theme, of course.
Parts of the control in some windows are not render properly, unless they are hovered, like in the following screenshots:
I try the theme on Ubuntu 16.04, 4k monitor with 2.88 screen scaling, 1.0 font scaling, and a launcher-icon size of 48. Everything else work fabulously, except for those cases.
I really love this theme.
I hope you can fix ittttttt ^^
at the moment the window buttons (close, minimise, maximise) are pretty far apart, I'd say a bit on the ugly side.
would be great to bring them closer together as with macOS
/usr/share/themes/macOS-Sierra/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:879: error: invalid string constant "panel", expected valid string constant
The theme misses to set a selected background-color for entries in the header-bar.
Steps to reproduce:
Open evenice with a pdf and open the save dialogue.
In the dialogs header the name of the file to save has a text field.
When selecting text in this text-field, the the text is merely visible, because the selected background stays at a normal color, while the text-color switches to white.
