Create Automation Windows HybridWorker

This runbook aids users in Creating Windows User Hybrid workers. This script must be executed on a Identity Enabled Automation Account only.
This would require the following modules to be present in the Automation account :
Az.Accounts, Az.Resources, Az.Automation, Az.OperationalInsights, Az.Compute

The script could even create (if needed) a Log Analaytics Workspace and also a VM to be registered as User Hybrid worker.

Error running VM extension - Can not perform requested operation on nested resource

Hi,

I get the following error when trying to run this to onboard an existing VM to an existing Log analytics workspace:

The running command stopped because the preference variable "ErrorActionPreference" or common parameter is set to Stop: Error registering the HW : HWG Creation :: Error running VM extension - Can not perform requested operation on nested resource. Parent resource 'rr-vm-02' not found. ErrorCode: ParentResourceNotFound ErrorMessage: Can not perform requested operation on nested resource. Parent resource 'rr-vm-02' not found. ErrorTarget: StatusCode: 404 ReasonPhrase: Not Found OperationID : 48de2580-19a8-4999-898a-8ec7934c2a30

I also tried to run this without an existing VM, to create a new VM and get the below error:
