Mobile Market Money Watch

M3-Watch is a a mobile-ready market data and financial news research tool. Built on Google Materialize, it employs a minimalist design aesthetic to provide users with rapid and intuitive data snapshots of publicly traded company of their interest.

Concept

  • Compare trends between stock performance and headlines
  • Give users the right information to make quick and informed decisions

Data

  • Yahoo Finance & Markit On Demand API: Obtain stock symbol of user-searched company and stock market info
  • New York Times API: Obtain most recent headlines and keywords related to the specific company
