About the issue 88 on gitlab: please document in-app where to put externally downloaded map files - I would want to add a thousand +1 but I don't have a gitlab account.

I've got the message "Couldn't download files. Please retry..." or the like, from your application.
(EDIT: at least on Android 8.1, I'm using a Xiaomi Redmi6A.)
This issue helped me to get Maps running again - with a MapsWithMe folder and the files from opensource-data.mapswithme.com/regular/weekly/ on the internal storage not on the SD-Card, and empty folders /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.github.axet.maps/files/MapsWithMe/ !
(Hell is even f-droid.org down right now?)

I have two suggestions / feature requests for your app:

1. continue recording for an already saved audio file - maybe with an icon here:

2. Pause at the new position to continue recording at this point:

Currently the cursor jumps to position 1 and not to position 2, from which I want to continue recording

Do you think it would be possible to implement the two changes in the next release? Thank you!

Would it be possible to add asymmetric encryption of the recorded files? Or add an option to run a user-written script after the recording is complete?
