There should be a main menu with a snazzy logo of some sort. This should present the option of starting the game or exiting.

Tasks

• Create basic main-menu which loads the game and whatnot. (Essentially, just yoinked the thing from Brackeys)
• Refactor so it's more flexable.
• Hide the quit button on platforms which cannot exit.

We need some visual indicators to let us know when we hit a booster or a wall.

Add particle effects that instantiate when any racer hits a boost, and another unique effect when they hit an obstacle

We need some kind of credits screen listing everyone and their contributions.

Looks dull

When a race ends, there should be some screen which shows the results. Then the player should be able to return to the main menu.

We need some kind of background. It's kinda boring to have this blue thing...

It'd be good if it sounded like someone hit their face on a pole when a racer smacks a wall.

This is a good first mode. We would track the number of laps which can be made within a certain time, or the time to make a certain number of laps. Not sure which one would be better.

Some fancy stuff needs to happen when we begin a race.

• The racers should be spawned.
• There should be a countdown.
• The players should not be able to move forward/backward until the countdown finishes. (Maybe allow up/down?)

Unless we want something abstract, we'll want to know... what are the racers? Are they airplanes? Birds? Bikes? Ghosts?

Hard to say yet.

I need to break up the RacerBody a little better.

Add multiple levels to the game. Add a stage select screen that the user enters when clicking "play". For now, all levels are available at the start of the game and all results screens load back to stage select

We need some kind of music. There's lots of public domain stuff, but maybe we can find someone to make some specialized tracks?
