The only mention of the word prompt in the whole project is in the read me. How do you actually set this value correctly? This example seems completely wrong.

During this situation:
status = 'There is no access token present in local storage, meaning that you are not logged in. Click here to attempt an SSO login';

The renew function takes about 60 seconds to load, why is this?

Followed your Prerequisites, however:

When trying to renew active token I get "login_required" error and it still redirects to login.
"accessToken" & "expirationDate" is correctly set before trying renewal.
