I followed this
mkdir android-x86 cd android-x86 repo init -u git://git.osdn.net/gitroot/android-x86/manifest -b nougat-x86 repo sync --no-tags --no-clone-bundle

when applying the mouse integration patch I get this

When Android-x86 is run using Virtualbox, the mouse cursor 'lags' (20-30 fps or something) which is noticeable. Does this solve that?
Moreover in Android one is stuck with an ugly black kind-of-blurry mouse cursor. Does this change that / how can you change it?

How can I solve this?

Would it be possible to have at least mouse integration patches merged into android-x86 or even AOSP?

Would it be possible to release a binary (tar?) matching android-x86 releases?
