Hi, I'm using Locus 4 with the settings GPS always on, running as a service and NMEA-recording always on.
When I send Locus to the background, all runs fine and GPS stays active.
But when I start Locus Map on my Smartwatch and the smartwatch goes to standby, Locus is switching off GPS after a few seconds. After reactivating the smartwatch, GPS on the phone is reactivated too.
Is it possible to add a setting, that the watch can't switch off GPS on the phone?

Before further development, it is necessary to update to latest libs used by this project.

The best should be to check current Wear OS requirements.

What definitely needs to be done:

• update to Locus API 0.9.39
• update to AndroidX
• update TargetSdk to 30

On the Sony Smart Watch 3 blue bars appear at the top and bottom. With the almost half of the display size is lost. Would be great if these could be removed.

Hi, i noticed sensor data like heart rate are only available while recording is started from watch.
If recording is started from locus map directly no sensor data is grabbed while watch is not listed as sensor to allow an auto connect to sensor.

Would be nice to see this in future.

is it possible to implement controls for the live tracking feature into the wear app?

You would have to have an activity where you can select a tracking profile, and then a start/stop button somewhere on that page, or directly on the map. Can this information be sent through the locus API?

Hi , Menion, can you provide more ways to download the latest apk file not only on google play store please ? since my watch doesn't have google play store , I really want the wear addon apk file , thank you.

Hi Menion, would you consider attaching the .apk file to the releases here, so folks without Playstore can grab it? I'd then offer to serve it via my F-Droid compatible repo, including automated updates.
