It's missing some strings and needs to be updated.

We've had several people mention this. When clicking one of the article blocks at the bottom of the slider, it advances the slider. People expect it to go to the article instead. Now that the slider has advanced, to view the article they have to move the mouse up and click the title (which does not look like a link) in the image to view the article.

Sticky posts show in the featured posts header at the top, but they also show in the post loop below it. It would be good to remove them from the post loop below, or leave them there and not include them in the featured post header.

When entering HTML in the footer text option, the preview shows the markup as text instead of rendering it properly.

Example:
<a href="#test">Test</a>

The customizer preview shows it just like it looks above, but when you save and view the site live, it works properly and links the Test text. Don't know if there's a preview render/callback we can use to make it look right while in customizer.

Right now it runs the author bio through wp_kses, restricted to only <a> elements. We should allow <p>, and maybe even anything that wp_kses allows out of the box.
